Exploring The Signs of Weak E*aculation: What You Should Know

Weak e*aculation is a condition where a person ejaculates a reduced amount of semen as compared to semen ejaculated by a healthy person. Occasional weak e*aculation is rarely a cause for concern, but if a person is experiencing consistent weak e*aculation, then it may need a visit to your healthcare provider. The major reason for weak e*aculation can be physical or psychological, and in some cases, both. This condition can be difficult for a person to deal with it and can lead to stress and anxiety.

In this article, we will explore weak e*aculation symptoms, potential causes, and treatments.

Symptoms of Weak e*aculation

Some of the most prevalent weak e*aculation symptoms include the reduced force of e*aculation or a reduced amount of semen during s*xual intercourse. Studies suggest that in cases when men get older, they experience low intense orgasms, which also leads to weak e*aculation. Men suffering from this condition can feel reduced s*xual pleasure or a feeling of incomplete e*aculation. According to PMC (PubMed Central), it is important to note that e*aculation volume of less than 2 ml on two separate occasions can indicate a possible underlying medical disorder. For such cases, it is best advised to visit your doctor to understand the causes and talk through various suitable treatments.

Potential causes for weak e*aculation

Doctors and researchers have identified several causes that lead to weak e*aculation. Some of them are listed below:

  1. Age – With increasing age, it is normal to see a decline in testosterone levels or male s*x hormones. Due to this reduction in male s*x hormones, a man’s e*aculation force may decrease along with volume.
  1. Alcohol – Drinking excessive alcohol can cause damage to the central nervous system and can reduce the flow of blood to the penis.
  1. Psychological factors – Psychological factors, such as depression, modified attraction to a partner, and past psychological trauma, can affect a person’s capability to ejaculate

.

  1. Prostate conditions – Prostate cancer or an enlarged prostate can affect e*aculation. Moreover, men who have undergone prostate surgery may experience weak e*aculation due to nerve damage.
  1. Other factors – Other reasons, such as s*xual factors, medications such as antidepressants, beta-blockers, antipsychotics, muscle relaxants, and powerful analgesics, can also cause delayed e*aculation. Due to this, it is advised to take only doctors-prescribed medicines.

Treatment

  1. Pelvic muscle exercise – Doctors recommend Kegel exercises and some other forms of pelvic exercises to strengthen the pelvic muscles. These exercises aid in strengthening the muscles that control e*aculation. For best results, men should try to perform 3 to 4 sets every day.
  1. Medications – Doctors prescribe medicines for enhancing s*xual function and treating weak e*aculation based on the symptoms and needs.
  1. Psychotherapy – It is always advised to visit a psychiatrist when a person is facing psychological problems such as anxiety and depression leading to s*xual problems. It is advised to visit a psychiatrist or a s*xologist specializing in s*xual medicine.

When to see a doctor?

As discussed above regarding weak e*aculation, it is important to understand weak e*aculation symptoms. If a man has been suffering from weak e*aculation for almost 6 months, then it is high time to visit a doctor and discuss the underlying issues and potential causes. You can also consult a doctor online on Kindly Health. The platform also offers medications, including supplements, that can help you treat weak e*aculation symptoms.
