Coral Island has a lot of secret details and Easter eggs that you can find if you know where to look. The game is a mix of Javanese culture and fantasy, so it’s fun to find something new. Coral Island is still in early access beta, which means that many features still don’t work and some places don’t go anywhere. Did you find these hidden things?
But this is normal for an early-access game, and it doesn’t affect the farming and life simulation experience as much as you might think. People who play Coral Island have been talking about what they’ve found and what they think the developers might add next.
This is a really hidden part of Coral Island that you probably wouldn’t have known about if you hadn’t read this story or watched a guide. Go to the sign for Coral Island near where you landed on your first day. You’ll see a small basket next to the sign. You can get free things from the box. One is a picture that isn’t in the game yet, and the other is a hanging piece of batik furniture.
About once a week, these free things appear. So, you could use the furniture, but it would be better to sell it since a batik hanging is worth about 900 gold. Usually, the basket will drop two of these, so it’s easy to get almost 2,000 gold for free every week.
Northeast of the island, there is a big rock in the way. Players have said that a bronze hammer or higher can be used to break the boulder. If you hit the rock in a certain place just to the right, you’ll hear a clank and see sparks before the boulder breaks. Depending on whether you have unlocked the Mastery tier for the chance to get double ore, you can get between 10 and 20 gold ores, which can be sold for a huge amount in the game.
The area will also be unlocked, but for now, it only goes to a rocky cliff with nothing on it. In a future update, it may get more stuff.
Early on in Coral Island, you’ll get a strange letter in the mail that says, “The Lighthouse, M-T-TR, sundown.” This is a secret vendor who only shows up after 8pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays near the lighthouse docks. You have no reason to go around the Lighthouse, so it’s easy to miss, and the letter won’t be sent to you unless you run into Ratih’s boat by chance.
Ratih’s Black Market sells rare things like artefacts, geodes, fossils, coffers, and more. Some of these items can only be bought from this vendor.
When you’ve given everything you can to the first altar, a new area will open up west of your farm, near the bridge before the mines. This is the only place you can look for ginseng, and sometimes a ghost will show up in the small graveyard near the big tree.
The ghost shows up between 5:20 pm and 11 pm and drops holiday-themed things. It is completely random when it will show up, what seasonal things it will drop, and how many it will drop, so if you have time, you should run around the area at night to see what you might get.
If you don’t run into this secret vendor, you might miss them. Ratih’s Float Market is open from 7:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. It sells food, handmade goods, and seeds.
If you purchase any handcrafted items, they will not be available again until the following Tuesday, when the shop receives new inventory. However, the seeds that you purchase will not be effective until the following day. There are also seeds accessible to you based on how influential you are in your town, however the price for these seeds is the same as the price of seeds at Sam’s General Store.
Sometimes, your house will shake during the night, and a message will tell you that you felt a big hit during the night. If this happens, look around your farm. You’ll find either a huge rock or a lot of space junk.
Mining the space trash for batteries can be done with any kind of tool, regardless of its level. Batteries currently have no utility in the producing process, therefore you should store them away for a time when this might change. Ore of bronze, silver, gold, or osmium can be obtained from meteors. The type of ore you obtain depends on how much you’ve upgraded your pickaxe.
You might not find the third hidden vender if you don’t look around the area outside the mines. When you get to the opening to the mines. Turn left and you’ll soon see a small cabin with a monkey sitting at the window.
The Concerned Monkey sells things like hats, furniture, plants, and even a 10,000-gold panda suit. It’s probably a reference to Eric Barone, who made Stardew Valley and goes by the name Concerned Ape.
It’s possible that you’ll come across a mark that looks like a vein when you’re working down in the mines. Since you’ve discovered an ore seam, you should use your pickaxe to smash the rocks in this area. When you strike it, a line will move along the ground to another location where you can use your axe to strike it. It’s possible that this will happen two or three times before you get to a ground sign that looks substantial.
If you use your pickaxe to hit this, you’ll find a cache of gold. This is a great way to quickly get a lot of bronze ore when you first start exploring mines. You can use it to improve your tools and make new ones.
When you’re swimming, after you get past the first turtle, you’ll see a big, decorative clamshell. There are five buttons in front of it, and when you move your finger over each one. A different musical note will play.
Early access indicates that it is not yet functional, despite the fact that it appears to be a puzzle. It is anticipated that this will occur either when Funny Shooter 2 game is officially released or in a subsequent update. Despite this, it’s entertaining to play about with it and speculate about the rewards that might be awarded for solving the riddle.
You will need to activate 20 solar orbs for each of the exploration diving missions “Into the Ocean” and “Exploring the Ocean” in order to complete them. If you continue to do that, a marine earthquake will occur close to a hidden door. When you are getting close to this location, you will run into two merpeople who will express their gratitude to you for using their outdated technology to assist in cleaning the ocean.
At the moment, you can only meet Agnung and Denali, who are both merfolk. It looks like there are two merfolk who can be in a relationship. But the makers haven’t said for sure if Agnung and Denali are the two.
