1. Existing health issues

A major or critical health diagnosis like cancer or any chronic illness may trigger anxiety disorder or make the condition worse in some people. Such triggers are often very powerful and have immediate effects on the feelings of the affected person.

2. Caffeine

In today’s busy life, many people like to take a cup of coffee in the morning to wake up. Those who have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder might consider staying away from coffee, especially the first thing in the morning. Caffeine is known as an anxiety trigger and can make it worse in some people.

A 2000 study found people with social anxiety issues and panic disorder are more sensitive to caffeine than others. If yours is such a case, you might want to cut your caffeine intake by simply switching to non-caffeinated coffee or other available options.

3. Skipping meals Your blood glucose levels tend to drop when you skip meals. This could cause jittery hands and, sometimes, a rumbling tummy in some people. It is important to eat multiple balanced meals throughout the day. They provide you with energy and various key nutrients to do your daily tasks.
