You can pre order the phone, but the actual release date of the pixel 2 is October 19 in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany and India.

Design & other things about Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL

Google has maintained its trend of pixel in design, even in pixel – 2; glass/metal combination has been used, and of course the new combo is attractive and water proof. Google has changed the position of finger scanner from glass to metal part of the phone.

Camera

In Pixel 2 there is a rear cam of 12 MP along with portrait mode, which has been used in I-phone 8 plus, actually google didn’t use two rear cameras to produce blur effect, in fact this is done with single sensor.

What about front camera?

Don’t worry!

Front camera is also provided with portrait mode, front camera which is 8 MP and we should mention this best part of this phone, it takes amazing photos even in low light. Google mentioned, Pixel 2 works very fine in Low light and takes photos that would love.

And headphone jack has been dropped this time, and provide more battery durability in just 15 minutes charging, so this pixel 2 may prove to be the best smartphone. But previous year pixel-1 couldn’t beat i-phone 7 so lets see; if this new pixel 2 can beat iphone 8 or not.
