For instance, a student who overthinks and is under pressure is not able to answer simple questions like “11th week of the year falls in which month?” and then he/she begins to panic.

  • Evaluate Your Vocabulary

Understanding of a question depends on how much you are familiar with the words in the question. It helps how well you answer. And it all sums up your vocabulary. If you have a vocabulary bank, you know most of the new words will appear in these types of questions.

For instance, if you are familiar with what a newspaper and editor is, you can answer almost all the questions related to article, newspaper, editing, etc. You need to work on your vocabulary list or take courses to brush it up.

Short answer question, in PTE speaking mock testcomes with a recording. It will be played for a very short time, and you need to stay alert. Listen carefully and concentrate till the end of it. When you are listening to the clip, try to imagine that question. Make an image in your mind that helps you know the topic well. When recording gets finished, with your imagination you can answer quickly and truly.

When your recording is finished, you need to be cautious to answer. Do not spend time thinking about the question. Quickly start your recording and answer the question.
