Recently, rumors about the release of Spirited Away 2 have been on the rise. Unfortunately, there has been no official announcement from the producers. In fact, they haven’t even hinted at the possibility of a sequel.
Spirited Away was produced by Studio Ghibli, and everyone knows that they always produce blockbusters. It’s also important to note that the studio has never produced a sequel to any of its films. This is because they prioritize credibility over profit and don’t want to produce unnecessary additional movies. So it’s doubtful that fans will ever get a sequel to their favorite movie.
If there is a second movie, the following cast members will surely return.
Chihiro – voiced in Japanese by Rumi Hiiragi while Daveigh Chase voiced the character in English – The main character who gets trapped in Kami’s spirit world where she works in a witch bathhouse to try to find a way to escape.
Haku, voiced in Japanese by Miyu Irino and Jason Marsden voiced by the character in English, a river spirit that helps Chihiro return to her world. The two also fall in love, breaking the spell cast on him and turning him back into a dragon.
Some new characters may also be added to the roster to make the story more interesting.
Spirited Away deals with Chihiro, a ten-year-old girl, who becomes trapped in the spirit world as she moves into her new home. She meets a boy in this world named Haku, who is the spirit of the river. He warns her to return to her world as soon as possible, but Chihiro meets a witch who turns her parents into pigs. She must find a way to turn them back into humans and leave this spirit world. Haku helps her in this quest and they are successful. Haku also tells him that they will meet in the future. Spirited Away 2 will feature them meeting and falling in love again. You will focus on your growing relationship as you embark on exciting magical adventures.
Since the film has not been renewed for a sequel, there is no trailer. And we probably won’t get it for quite some time.
