Steps to fix Comcast Email login issue

Comcast email is accessible to provide IMAP access to your Comcast.net account, which helps to connect your email to desktop email clients from mobile devices.

  1. Visit the Comcast Xfinity website on your web browser and hit the sign-in on the upper right of the page.
  2. A new page will open on your screen.
  3. On that Comcast page, click forgot username/password. Select the option and you will be on the next page where you have to enter your Comcast account username.
  4. After finishing it, click on the continue button.
  5. Then enter the captcha provided on the screen.
  6. Confirming the captcha will take you to the next page, where you’ll be given a password recovery option.
  7. Clicking on the password recovery option, there will be given 2 options for you to access further
  • Send an email to H*****g2@xyz.com
  • Send a text message via mobile phone at 988*****88
  1. You have to select any of them to continue.  Choosing the First option will get you a link to your email to reset your password. The second option will get you a text consisting of OTP/code to fill in the desired place.

 

These methods are usually effective enough to fix your Comcast login problem, but in case you haven’t registered your email or mobile number, then

 

  • Click on the Try a different method link. they will give you some security questions such as your birthday (which you would have submitted during the registration) and a ZIP code. Your answer to the question should match with the one you have given during registration and correct the ZIP code.
  • After entering both the given criteria, Comcast will verify the suitable owner, with the confirmation of the correct owner, they will give you the option of resetting the password.
  • Now you’ll be directed towards the next page where you could create a new password and then click continue.
  • By the end of the process, you will receive a confirmation message from Comcast for successfully resetting your password. After the approval and confirmation, you are ready to function over your Comcast account.
